I am a well traveled kind of person. I was in the military for 12 years. So I got to see allot of places and meet all kinds of different people. I am an open minded person to all races and creeds simply because I was around so many very diverse personalities in my job. I used to be a mechanic so I know what hard work is and not afraid to get my hands dirty...or the rest of me for that matter. lol Sometimes I'd just be covered in grease and oil after a long day of work. Oddly enough I do miss those days. =)

Other than that I'm a very supportive kind of person when I can be. I used to sponser the new soldiers to the unit and it was remarkable watching them take flight on their own after showing them the ins and outs of being in the service. They were like having allot of little brothers and sisters. lol I enjoy hearing stories of others. Where they've been, where their going, what they've always wanted to do. Everyone has a story. =) Even if they don't think it's very interesting themselves. In the military it was common for people to sit around after duty hours and share stories. I find other service jobs are the same way. Like the local police force and the fire department. Their generally very close knit and tell allot of stories. Guess it's just a bond we build because we know our jobs can be dangerous. I think it would be horrible if a soldier in my platoon died and I honestly knew absolutely nothing about him but his name.

Though I miss the service I found that online gaming has the potential to fill the void of teamworking that I have felt. So I play this game called Ragnarok Online. I have many characters I play in this game but my love is always going to be my priestess. She is the cornerstone of any party and my job is to keep everyone alive. =) I really enjoy it. I know for you guys who are not gamers, you might find this activity confusing for a woman my age. For me it's normal. My father was a game tester for Nintendo when I was a kid. So...I guess it's just in my blood and who I am.

Wolves are creatures of cunning and though people will try and tell you differently there have rarely been any attacks on humans, unless sick or provoked. Wolves are very curious. They are loyal. Wolves are caring and nurturing creatures. I have learned many things about myself from wolves and they are a big part of who I am. Don't be frightened by my name, my usual choices were taken and that was the first random thing to pop into my head.

Right, so, I'm a law student here in Buffalo, and that's been the challenge I hoped it would be. It's a change of pace from my undergrad art major of sculpture, more specifically bronzecasting, but I think it helps to even me out. Left brain, right brain... no sense in being lopsided!

I like indie music, and I'm of a progressive mindset, and a bit of a philosopher when on the right topic. Boy that makes me sound dry. Look at my pictures! There's my personality.

I was born and raised in New York City, which will always be "home" to me. Because of that, I was raised with good manners, a love of museums and concerts in the park, and a firm belief that if you're going somewhere that's less than three miles away, you should walk there. However, I've been in Buffalo for the past four years, and have come to love it. I rarely make it two months without traveling somewhere, and am 3/5 of the way to reaching my goal of spending at least one night in all 50 states. I sometimes talk too much or too fast, but usually what I say is worth hearing.

who am I really? I don't think that's really something I can describe to you fully......anyway, here goes.....

So we'll start off with some hobbies:

I hike just about every weekend, wherever I can. Just being outside in nature is my weekly vacation.

Photography, I take pictures of just about everything. My camera is hardly ever left at home...actually never, its usually in my car anyway.

I bike ride a lot in the summer, mostly on trails but I do ride on the street or at the river every so often. I guess rollerblading would fit into this as well, I go a lot after work on nice days.

I'm an electronics guy, pretty much anything that deals with technology, this is also my job.

I'm a big fan of movies, pretty much most kinds will do just fine....most movies i don't have a hard time sitting through

I've never been very good at describing myself, so I'll just write what other people have said. I'm smart, funny, and rational (does that sound familiar?). I get that I'm evil a fair amount of the time, but it's usually because I enjoy playing devil's advocate in arguments. I enjoy arguing, but if the other party isn't being rational, it's just agonizing.

I was born and raised in Buffalo. While I do have some relatives out of state a lot more are here and that's why have no real plans to move outside the area. I support my hometown by taking in Sabres and Bills games, attend music concerts at HSBC, take in musicals at Sheas and enjoy evenings out at local restaurants preferably over national chains. Yet I can't deny Red Lobster as a personal favorite. I also enjoy quiet evenings at home watching a DVD or just listening to the FM radio with my cat Bandit. Many mistakenly think she's named after the local lacrosse team yet the truth is I named her in honor and respect to my prior cat Smokey and because she's a tuxedo cat and because of her markings it looks like she's wearing a black mask.

I have a very low key personalty and somewhat shy until I feel comfortable as a result think sometimes am misunderstood or maybe that's because I mumble from time to time. Most people I know will say I've been blessed with a quick wit but be forewarned it can be quite sarcastic and at times even downright dirty so if you can't handle a little ribbing from time to time you might not be the right one for me. Of course it's all in fun and never really meant to hurt anyone and I can laugh at myself and will even go so far as be the but of a joke by someone else.

As noted already I am vegan and enjoy finding new restaurants to eat at when I am out traveling. I spend a lot of time booking bands and going to shows. When I am not watching bands or eating fine vegan foods I go to the movies or could be caught reading a book or two.

I have spent time living in Morocco and China and plan on doing more traveling when time and money lends itself to the occasion.

I love to play piano, go to th gym, hiking, boating, basically anything outdoors.

I'm a closet nerd. I love sci fi and fantasy, computers, books, anime, good tv and movies, and all sorts of games. Still, I try to keep all my geeky hobbies to myself when I meet new people. I also enjoy philosophy, science, radical political discussions that sometimes touch on the possible effects of a small scale zombie outbreak on the GDP...ok, I guess sometimes even I can't keep the geek in me from talking...

I also love nature. I like walking around in parks, especially in the evening or at night. I used to camp almost every month when I was younger, but I haven't really done anything like that since college.

I am also a big fan of martial arts. I was really into martial arts when I was younger, but the demands of college eventually forced me out of practice. I still try to keep in practice but I don't have the time to go to classes or really focus like I used to.

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York. I went to Canisius College for my undergrad and St.Bonaventure for my M.B.A. I am a financial analyst. Music is one of my passions, I used to DJ at The Snooty Fox. I like to read books, go hiking, and ski/snowboard in the winter. Sunset Bay is the beach I go to in the summer.

I'm very close with my family & friends, they mean the world me.

I moved back to Buffalo in July to take a non-profit job helping Vets. I am looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and meeting new people. I'm originally from Utica, NY and moved to Buffalo about 3 years ago. I enjoy living here. I am a chiropractor working downtown and have been practicing for 3 years. When I'm not working I like to spend time with my friends or play/write music. I also like to read or do crosswords. Sometimes I really just need an ice cold beer, and chill. I don't mind winter at all, but I prefer summer.

I love when I can get sucked into a great conversation with someone I care about. Don't get me wrong..I'm a typical guy at times and I love my sports. Yankees, Sabres and the Bills baby!!!

I live in the Elmwood area and I usually take walks or go running in my neighborhood. I really like the thought of sitting in a cafe with someone, drinking coffee, chatting, and of course people watching. Sometimes instead of going out, I like to stay in and make dinner with whomever I'm dating...nothing like great food!

This type of essay always takes a lot of effort because it is hard to summarize a lifetime of experiences, thoughts and motivations into a short paragraph about yourself. I will tive this a try. I would say that I have been very driven, motivated, work hard, not a quitter, do not smoke nor drink enough to say I am a social drinker, like to exercise, keep very fit, clean, never have taken drugs, general health is excellent, love closeness, gentle passionate person, have a unique sense of touch, like bowling, golf, financial markets, love eating out with the right company, enjoy movies, work hard and really only lacking only one thing in life and unfortunately it has to be one of the most important things to me. I think that is plenty enough for now. Oh one other thing.
