Cayuga County Sheriff's deputies arrested an inmate in their jail for allegedly conducting a phone scam from behind bars. Deputies charged Eduardo Camacho, 24, with conspiracy and criminal impersonation.

Police are investigating a stabbing in Rochester's South Wedge. It happened at the St. Joseph's House on South Avenue around 11:30. Police say the victim was stabbed above the eye.

The Rochester teenager who took a plea deal in the shooting death of a community activist, learned his fate Tuesday morning. Darnell Norton, 19, got 20 years in state prison for pleading guilty to first degree robbery. It was in exchange for his testimony against Henry Cox, 19.
